What do we treat?
At Katy Holmes Physiotherapy we treat a range of musculoskeletal and pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Musculoskeletal
complaints
If you're struggling with pain such as back pain, pelvic pain or hip pain, a women's health physiotherapist can help to look not only at the joint itself but also your pelvic health as a whole.
Women often struggle to regain core strength after pregnancy and if you think you have a diastasis this can be quickly assessed with a treatment plan provided for.

Pelvic Health
Don't let your pelvic health hold you back we see people with a range of pelvic health dysfunctions:

ABOUT
I have been working as a Physiotherapist in Women’s Health for the last number of years. Galway Maternity Hospital gave me my first opportunity to work in this speciality, where I gained valuable experience assessing common pelvic conditions and advising women on postnatal recovery. This ignited my passion for Women's Health Physiotherapy and I continued my work in the area by joining the Rotunda Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist. This role really expanded my knowledge in the management of pregnancy and pelvic floor related conditions. More recently I have returned to my native Limerick, working within the Women's Health team in the University Maternity Hospital.

I love working with women to help improve their pelvic health and get back to enjoying exercise or to be able to cope with the demands of daily life.
